This is an 8 1/2″ x 11″ card. The back is scored (L) at 3/8ths of an inch across the top to make the hinge for the card. This gives the coworkers a good place to sign on the inside. This was a specific request for a card for Chuck Wiersch of Youngblood Auto, he’s the man in the commercials that jumps up and says, What A Place! LOL Which is super fun, but very involved. I even got to be in one of these commercials, but you could not see me. It was so funny how people did not want to be up in front of the camera.
Spellbinders inverted scallop circles were used for the inside of the card. I also used some “cereal bag” from a cereal box for the windows and door. Quickutz Doll dies were used for the hair, the clothes and shoes are from the Policeman die. The doll body was cut from Sizzix Dress Up Body die and had to be trimmed to hide behind the Quickutz clothing. And the acrylic backing that comes on the $1.00 stamps you might find at JoAnn’s or Michaels, was used to raise the Sizzix Doll up in the air and off the card to mimic jumping. I also used some SU inks to sponge the clouds in Tempting Turquoise & Night of Navy, Crushed Curry for the front Sentiment.
The inside of the card, I used Amuse’s Edward and Bella stamps, and repeatedly using a few masks where I also stamped them on paper, to mimic employees.
