Insiders Online Card Class Day 2, Card 1

Hi Crafters!! Todays card was inspired by the Sweet, Kristina Werner. It’s a trifold card, and is so cleverly made. I used Recollections cliing stamp set that I’m going to call Fairy Godmother and Princess, since it does not have a name. LOL I got this set on clearance at Michael’s and could not pass it up.

All images were stamped in Ranger Archival Jet Black ink and I used my Crayola Washable Markers to doodle round and about on each image, then used the aqua painter to blend in the marker. I did end up putting an extra layer of card stock on the top and bottom panel, since the middle was already 2 layers. It just made the whole thing more stable, since I use inexpensive white card stock.

Kristina hand drew some clouds and cut them out for masks and then sponged around them. My hands do not do fussy cutting very well, so I made some stencil type masks with scraps of water color paper and a small green Sizzix die called cloud and a Fiskars medium or small clould punch. I added clear packing tape around the edges of the water color paper, so I could sponge freely in all of the cloud openings and not get ink on the base card where I didn’t want it. This worked really well. It wasn’t as dynamic as Kristina’s, but it was easier for me to do and it was still “clouds”. I really enjoyed this card.

I’m still have so much trouble with my ipad 2, ioS7, Word Press and YOUTube!! I finally just shut the ipad off. When it restarted there were all kinds up app updates due to bugs, crashes, etc. Thank YOU!! But looks like someone had better be burning the midnight oil, because YouTube is still not uploading in a timely fashion or it’s because no one could upload today during normal hours and we’re all trying to do it at the same time now. “sigh”…
