Hey Crafters!! PTI just turned 8 and in honor of such, they have a lot of fun challenges going on. Today, I’m participating in the challenge to pick a Color Scheme and a Sketch and make a card. We get one card entry and the contests are running until 7am EST, Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015!! Get crafting!
My first and favorite card: Sketch: Ground 3 similar accents with a strip of card stock or ribbon. Color Scheme: Summer Sunrise, Simply Chartreuse, Ripe Avacodo, Raspberry Fizz and Plum Pudding. I don’t have any PTI inks, but have improvised with Copic markers and Crayola washable markers and SU water based dye inks.
Stamps: PTI Garden Variety and Garden Variety 2.
Dies: PTI Hexagon Cover Plate die, Garden V. and Garden V. 2.
Card Stock: Stampin’UP!, Recollections, Canson Water Color paper.
Markers: Copics darker than the stamping colors and Crayola washable markers for the water color on the trellis and sky.
Stamping Inks: SU Certainly Celery, Pixie Pink, Rich Razzleberry, Lovely Lilac, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight.
For the Second Card that I made just for fun: Sketch: Stamp a large image, split the design down the right side and add a word die cut. Color Scheme: Summer Sunrise, Berry Sorbet, Spring Moss, Ripe Avocado and Aqua Mist.
Stamps: Stampendous CRS5007 with leaf image.
Dies: PTI Wonderful Words Counting My Blessings.
Inks: SU Blush Blossom, Pixie Pink, Costa Cabana.
Markers: Crayola washable markers in Dark Pink, Light Green and Olive Green, Med. Orange on the Mauve side, Gold Yellow, Light Blue.
Card Stock: Recollections and Canson Water color.
