Papertrey Ink’s 8th Bday, Honoring Moms, Feb. 2015

Hey Crafters!! How about an ALL Day card? Yep, this took me several hours to make!! That’s what happens to many cards in the making. They just take longer than your idea…hahaha!

This challenge is to Build a Bouquet on a card cover with more than 1 floral stamp. I started with a 9 x 12 inch piece of water color paper. I use Canson from Wal-mart. I scored this piece in half at 6 inches.

I started by sketching in my window front shop. I’ve adored multi-paned windows my entire life, which I may have shared here before, including Nanny’s shop called, Frontier Curio Shop in Ozark Acres, Hardy Ar. built in the 50’s. Of course, Nanny’s shop housed souvenirs not flowers. LOL

I pulled the Wheelbarrow & Flowers, Sizzix die 557688? or 557698, the extra sticker they put on this die is not clear. I cut all of the elements in water color paper and used everything except the large flowers. I did use their centers and the waste pieces from the wheels for itty bitty flowers too and stamped on them with PTI images from Iconic images set and Vintage Picnic set. (those round flowers are in the wheel barrow)

Papertrey Ink sets used: Garden Variety (the word Fleur on the wheel barrow sign) & Garden Variety 2 (the flower pots and greenery for them and the wheel barrow), The Sweet Life (small roses in flower pots in the urn and wheel barrow and on the Fleur sign). Vintage Picnic (2 small white daisies in the wheel barrow).
Stampin’UP! sets used: Vivid Vases, Sweet of You.
Wood Mounted stamps used: Stampabilities Watering Can Flowers G1120 & Urn ER1013. Rubber Stampede Greek Vessel A2212D.

Inks: StazOn and Stampin’UP! Old Olive, Dusty Durango, Pacific Point (flower pots and greenery).
Markers: Crayola Washable Markers (everything water colored to fill in stamped images was done with these, scribble on the images and dilute immediately with water. The flowers in the far right of the windows was stamped in Pacific point too with 1st and 2nd generation stamping.
