Hey Crafters!! Life has been hitting us hard, so my appologies for this late post.
February’s name tag was inspired by February’s Calendar page, on the calendars I make for family each year at Christmastime.
The typewriter was stamped in StazOn black ink and a mask was made to cover the typewriter. Then the envelope was stamped in SU’s Close to Coco ink once in full strength ink, and again a second time without reinking the stamp for a lighter colored envelope. The little heart image was stamped in SU’s Pixie Pink to fill in the open heart of the envelope and again on the letter. The month of February was masked and inked so that only the abbreviation of Feb could be stamped in the bottom left corner of the name tag in Ranger Archival jet black ink. An American Crafts marker in tan? was used to enhance the letter in the typewriter. On my Calendar, this was light blue and wish I’d follwed my inspiration, but I was trying to be vintage! LOL Which, is okay, the blue would have popped better.
