About Me

I’m married to my high school sweetheart for 33 years with a son and daughter with kids. Mom taught me to sew when I was 10 and I have always enjoyed decorating or crafting for the Seasons and Holidays. I collected stamps that were on sale years back when Carol Duvall was on TV. I started collecting dies the same way, when they were a good deal on ebay. I discovered Angie Kennedy Juda and Dawn Griffith, both Stampin’UP! Demos and I was elated to watch their step by step video tutorials and know what to do with all of my supplies! I contacted my local Demo, Dorothy Marr and joined “card class”. I’m a complete die-0-holic and love sharing gathered knowledge and the products I purchase or win blog hopping. This journey brought me to a place where my heart could sing again and I love stamping and die cutting. It makes my heart sing almost as much as gardening and exotic bird genetics!

I had a major body melt down that began in 2005, when I disintegrated the S1 disc during a wakeboard fall, that eventually led to the discovery of a life long broken vertebrae at the bottom of my spine. I got into stamping and die cutting during this long journey and down time. And became a Nana shortly thereafter and I love my baby bugs and I’m part time daycare for them. There is never enough room on my smart phone and tablet for their photos! LOL

I believe we all go through things perhaps so we can help others through the same journey later with learned compassion. Everyone is going through something. Pray for everyone is who going through your struggle, because this includes you! And God knows every single person going through the issue you have right now.
