Pen & Water Color~Kathy Rac 30 Day Oct 13 2015

Hey Crafters!!  It’s Day 13 in Kathy Racoosin’s 30 Day Color Challenge, and today she added a little sparkle.  Click on her name to go straight to her post.  *There’s also a giveaway and winners will be chosen on Oct. 20, 2015!! (Edited to correct the date, sorry)

I’m doing a pen and water color painting based on what I learned lat Fall.  And I really wanted to do the Indian Corn, but I douldn’t find my paintings and I have to have a photo to go by, so ended up using a stamped and water colored image of a watering can for inspiration.

And I hope you don’t mind, the edited video is more about artistic expression and permission to work freely more than being a tutorial. It’s important to encourage each other and talk about artistic road blocks because anyone can have an off day and experience them from time to time. Apple recent mobile ios 9.0.2 isn’t that great on ipad 2, an older product. And watching me draw, retrace, then water color was like watching paint dry. LOL

And I added the bugs and icky smiley faces after the video was over!   (Yes, they were not a good choice, I should have left it alone, but I will save it and give it to my 3 year old grand baby and she will love it! 😉
